# MCP installation

Give your personal agent shopping tools for finding products, checking prices and comparing purchase options.

## Add shopping guidance

Send this prompt to your personal agent, such as Claude or Codex. It will guide you through connecting gaisho and adding the shopping guidance for your app.

Ask your agent

```
Read https://gaisho.co/skill.md and follow the installation instructions to connect gaisho.
```

Complete sign-in or approve the connection when your agent asks. Once connected, you can ask shopping questions in the same conversation.

- [Installation guide](https://gaisho.co/skill.md): Connection, sign-in and shopping guidance for your agent.

## Try it out

Ask your agent

```
Find me a cordless vacuum under $300.
```

Your agent should use gaisho to retrieve products and explain the options. If the connection is unavailable, ask it to check the setup using the installation guide above.
