# Check a seller

Assess a seller or online store and return a trust assessment with supporting facts.

## How it helps

Check the store or marketplace seller behind an offer. Share the store’s website, the listing or the seller link from the listing, especially when several sellers use similar names.

## Ask your agent

Once gaisho is connected, ask in your own words. For example:

Ask your agent

```
Can you check whether this online store is trustworthy? Here is its website.
```

Ask your agent

```
Check the seller behind the cheapest listing before I buy.
```

Ask your agent

```
What should I know about this seller’s reputation and return policy?
```

## What you’ll get

Your agent identifies the seller assessed and explains its trust assessment, supporting facts and buyer considerations. Confirm that this is the same seller you intend to buy from.

A limited record means little information vouches for the seller; it is not itself a warning. Caution or high risk comes with reasons to consider, while an unknown assessment means there is insufficient information.

If the name matches several sellers or no seller can be identified, your agent can ask for a more precise link. That outcome is neither a positive nor a negative judgment about the seller, and no assessment guarantees a future order.
