Is this a good price, and should the shopper buy now or wait? gaisho judges a US price for a link, a product ID, a model or a plain description, against comparable offers and the product's own price history.

What your agent gets

  • A verdict on the price: good, fair, high, suspicious or unverifiable.
  • An action: buy now, wait, buy elsewhere, verify the seller, or can't judge, with a confidence from 0 to 1.
  • A summary to relay, and what the price was judged against: comparable offers, the product's own history, or a labelled estimate of its usual US retail price.
  • The price range, the evidence, the limits the shopper should hear about, and the best offer found.
  • Unit prices for packs and goods sold by volume, weight or count.
  • Products outside the catalog can still be judged, with an estimate that states its assumptions.

How to use it in your agent

  • Relay, don't rewrite

    Pass on the verdict, the action and the summary. Mention the limits when they matter, and the confidence when it's low.

  • Treat “suspicious” as a prompt

    It means: check the model, condition, package and seller. It's a risk flag, not proof of a counterfeit.

  • Give the quantity

    For packs and goods priced by volume, weight or count, pass the quantity the price covers, so the unit price is right.
