Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LIL GREBE INC. ("gaisho", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through gaisho.co (the "Site"), including when you request a demo. It does not cover the gaisho service itself, which we provide to customers under a separate written agreement.
Who we are
LIL GREBE INC. is the controller of personal information collected through the Site. You can reach us at privacy@lil-grebe.com or by post at LIL GREBE INC., 1111B S Governors Ave STE 40831, Dover, DE 19904, USA.
What we collect
When you request a demo, we collect what you enter in the form:
- Contact details: your name, work email address and, if you choose to give it, your phone number.
- Professional details: your company and, if you choose to give it, your role.
- Your message: anything you write in "How can we help?".
With the form, we also record how you reached it: the page you submitted from, the referring page, and any campaign parameters in the link (such as utm_source).
When you visit the Site, our hosting provider processes technical information needed to deliver and protect it, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We use IP addresses briefly to limit repeated form submissions; we do not build profiles from them.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and we ask that you do not include any in your message.
If an AI agent or another tool submits the form on your behalf, we treat the information it submits as information you gave us.
Cookies and tracking
The Site does not currently set cookies, and does not use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking technologies. If that changes, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to:
- reply to your request and arrange and run the demo;
- follow up with you by email about gaisho in connection with your request;
- understand which channels bring people to the Site, using the referral and campaign details above;
- keep the Site and the form secure and prevent spam and abuse;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on:
- our legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, developing customer relationships, and keeping the Site secure;
- taking steps at your request before entering into a contract; and
- compliance with legal obligations, where applicable.
EU and UK representative
gaisho does not actively offer its services to people in the European Union or the United Kingdom, so we have not appointed a representative under Article 27 of the GDPR or the UK GDPR. If we begin offering services to people there, we will appoint a representative and update this policy.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- Service providers that process it for us under contract: our website host (Vercel) and our email provider (Google Workspace), which delivers demo requests to our team.
- Professional advisers and authorities, when required by law or needed to protect our rights, users or others.
- A successor, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
We keep demo request information for as long as we need it to respond and follow up, and then for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required by law. Hosting logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct or update it;
- delete it;
- object to or restrict how we use it, including for direct marketing;
- withdraw consent, where we rely on consent;
- receive it in a portable format.
To exercise these rights, email privacy@lil-grebe.com. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within 30 days (45 days where California law applies). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents
In the past 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in "What we collect": identifiers (such as name, email address and phone number), professional information (company and role), and internet activity (referring page and pages visited). We collect them for the purposes in "How we use your information" and disclose them only to the recipients in "Who we share it with". We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not collect sensitive personal information.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The Site is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
